Artist Biography
France born artist Anne-Sophie Tschiegg is based in Strasbourg, has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and prior to her life as a professional artist, had extensive experience in advertising and design. Tschiegg’s work is mesmerising, successfully adhering to the principles of aesthetics while showcasing her individual perspective and evident artistic experience.
Tschiegg is motivated by her desire to express the inexpressible. She gives free rein to herself for interpreting her emotions and feelings through her subjects which include still life florals, landscapes and portraits. She paints both figuratively and abstractly capturing spectrums of colour and embodying life in her work.
It has been said, “Her paintings are colour compositions made from amorphous brush strokes and organic shapes. There’s a particular energy and ambiance that is brought to life in each of her paintings. A sophisticated colour palette featuring deep highlights and muted pastel backgrounds, brings to life her unique ensemble of floral and natural landscapes. Each painting is singularly special and one of a kind.”
Anne Sophie has featured in several solo and group exhibitions throughout Europe. Her collectors come from far and wide due to her unique and sophisticated style. The artist is highly sought after with a wait list for commission pieces. We welcome Anne Sophie to the gallery with her confident and engaging work.
