In the beginning there was just one, indeed, but this month’s online exhibition celebrates ‘Two of a Kind’, featuring two works from a selection of our represented artists. What is the mysterious magic of the number ‘2’ ? To overcome loneliness you need just two – no more, no less. Connection with another starts with two. It takes two to tango. We have two hands, two arms, legs, feet, eyes and ears. Polarisation is required in order to create space, the grey, with which to fill it. There is black and white. Good and evil. Love and hate. Ying and yang. Only when there are these two opposites can we find balance. Two is the definitive first step to growth. And this is no less true for finding the perfect pair of artworks…
