‘Blank’ is an adjective, it is a state of mind, a deep feeling, an unfilled gap. I start to paint in a blank space. My mind is blank. The surface of the canvas is an empty place where I lose (and find) myself everyday. A place where my ideas break up into many eyes, hands, colours and lines.
