Johnny Romeo does not owe anyone any explanations. Yet to know the man behind the name is to understand the substance behind the art. Saturday 17^th September at The Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, marks the opportunity to do just that – to meet and get to know the artist himself during a lavish three course dinner provided by the hotel.

Romeo is an Australian born artist who, through a poetic union of image and word, communicates his perspective of contemporary society.  To label him as a pure pop painter would be somewhat reductionist. As a genre typically synonymous with unfettered brashness, Romeo brings confidence and maturity to his individual interpretation of expressionist pop art, through his use of coherent narrative and meticulous execution, while still upholding playfulness and colour, example of his accomplished grasp of the style.

This is an opportunity to be among an intimate group of clientele to not only dine with the artist and be the first to preview the work, but also be the first to secure pieces from it. This invitation is open to Romeo’s collectors, past, present and yet to be, who are currently in the market to expand their collection. Applications are now open for this event.
