Born as Valeria Palmeiro in Madrid in 1989, she later took Coco Dávez as the name she would paint under. Coco is one of the rising stars of Spanish contemporary art and uses a mix of pop art, realism and illustration.
In 2010, in London, Coco Davez hung her first artwork and from there her career began to explode. She has even created her own brand with her latest collection entitled ‘Faceless’, which has already exhibited in cities such as Madrid, Lisbon and Santiago de Chile. She has illustrated the book ‘El año sin verano’ (The Year Without Summer). She has also worked for brands like Absolut Vodka, Tommy Hilfiger, Primark, Opel, Ron Barceló or Bankinter.
Singers, actors and other opinion leaders in the Spanish culture have already shown their admiration for her pure lines, her colorful work and her simplicity when she paints faceless faces.
