Local artist Britty Em (Britty Marsden) creates playful large-scale paintings that, in some cases, literally turn heads. She successfully synthesises both concept and colour to create crisp clean work that infuses elements of graphic design and fashion; both of which feature heavily throughout her portfolio to influence her illustrative, flat, bold painting style.  Entirely distinctive and a talking piece to be sure, Britty’s paintings will add depth and value to any collection with their fearless approach to subject matter which includes the artists “Forever Home” collection; consisting of personified canine portraits, and, “Rare Birds” which compares the rarity of strong, iconic female artists in society to that of colourful native birds.
