ARTIST STATEMENT
Under a Blue Moon there is a surreal world, where deformed and imaginative creatures interact; social acceptances no longer apply, gender is unspecific. I enjoy that every character carries a particular uniqueness, like once in a “Blue Moon”. Under this blue moon lies my altered perspective of the bizarre side of human behaviour. I thrive from the viewer’s reaction, broadening my inspiration to create these odd characters. My characters have developed from personal observations, events and experiences of abnormal people, whose curiosities I have exposed and exaggerated.
